Tracking

You find out exactly where customers come from.

Every code has its own story: how many scanned, when, and from which material. One code on the van, one on the flyer, one on the business card, and you see which of them brought the customers. No jargon.

How tracking works

Why QR scans show up as Unassigned in GA4

Google Analytics has no default rule for a QR medium, so scans land in Unassigned unless the tags are set deliberately. Tags are checked here as you type, lowercased so Spring and spring stay one campaign, and appended at scan time so they stay editable after printing. You see the GA4 row before you print, not after.

Use cases

Fiscal receipt

1 November 2026

The date until which fines are suspended in Romania. From then, a receipt without a QR code can be fined.

Do not wait

Every receipt without a QR code issued after 1 November 2026 can be fined. Check with your register's supplier now that the update is done.

The register prints the fiscal code. The receipt can carry yours too.

The QR code the law requires on a Romanian receipt is generated by the cash register from the receipt's own data. No website is part of that. But the same receipt can carry a second code, the one you own: a Google review, a loyalty scheme, this week's offer. The customer has just paid and has the phone in hand.

Pricing

The team

The people behind the codes.

We built this because we needed it: printed QR codes that stay valid and tell us where the visits come from. You can reach us by email, and we answer ourselves.

  • AndyProduct and developmentWrites the code and keeps the codes up. A scan has to work at three in the morning too.
  • MikiSales and marketingLooks after customers, marketing and everything that is not code. If you have a question, she is most likely the one who answers.

Questions

What people ask us.

How do I make a free QR code?

Type the link, press the button, download the code. No card, no trial. The first 3 codes are free for good.

Do these QR codes expire?

No. A code keeps working for as long as this service exists, including on the free plan and including after you stop paying. Printed material does not stop working because a trial ended.

Is there a limit on scans?

No, on any plan. A successful flyer should never switch itself off. What the free plan limits is how many codes you keep at once, currently 3. A code counts while it exists in the account: delete one you no longer print and the slot frees.

Can I change where a printed QR code points?

Yes. The printed image encodes a short link, and the destination behind it is editable at any time. Every copy already in the world re-points, and the image itself never changes.

Do you ask for a card?

Not for the free plan: signing up and using the free codes never needs one, and there is no trial clock or anything to cancel. A card comes in only if you choose Pro, which is billed monthly.

Why are the codes free?

Because a free code that died two weeks after two thousand flyers were printed is what started this. The free plan is the product. What costs money is what a business with several placements needs on top: more codes, complete history, campaigns.

What happens to my codes if I want to leave?

They keep working. Take a full JSON backup of everything you made, any time, without asking anyone. The export exists so that leaving is always possible.

Why do my QR scans show as Unassigned in Google Analytics?

GA4 has no default channel rule for a QR medium, so scans land in Unassigned. Source and medium still read correctly, and one custom channel group on medium = qr names them for good. Tags are validated as you type, lowercased so Spring and spring stay one campaign, and appended at scan time so they stay editable after printing.

Print it once. It works forever.

Make a code, print it, and change where it points whenever you need to. Every copy already in the world follows.

€10 + VAT a month for Pro, billed monthly, cancel any time. Codes you printed keep working after you stop.
