What the service does

A dynamic code contains a short link on qrsteady.ro. Scanning it opens a destination you choose and can change at any time, including after printing. A Wi-Fi code opens a small page on this site that shows the network name and password.

Commitments we keep

These five commitments are part of your agreement with us. Each is built into the product, and the section on changes explains why they are not withdrawn later.

• Codes do not expire. A code keeps working for as long as this service exists, on any plan, including after a subscription ends.
• Scans are never capped. Not on the free plan and not on any other. A successful flyer never switches itself off.
• Plan limits never switch off existing codes. The free plan limits how many live codes you keep at once, currently 3. Reaching that limit stops you creating another. It never affects codes you already have, or a code you restore from your own backup. A code stops working only if you delete it or it is disabled for abuse, as described below.
• No ads on a scan. A website code goes straight to your destination, with no advertising page in between.
• Your data comes out whole. A complete JSON export is available on every plan, free included, and restoring it is never blocked because a subscription ended.

Paying

Pro costs €10 a month, billed monthly in advance. There is no annual commitment: cancelling stops the next renewal, and Pro stays active until the end of the month already paid for. The total you pay is shown on the payment page before you confirm.

Payment is handled by Stripe. Card details go to Stripe directly and never reach this service. After cancellation the account returns to the free plan and every code you created keeps working. On the free plan, scan detail older than 7 days is no longer available.

If a renewal payment fails, Pro stays active while the card is retried. If the payment does not succeed, the account returns to the free plan. Your codes keep working throughout.

Right of withdrawal, for consumers

If you are a consumer in the EU, you can withdraw from a Pro subscription within 14 days of buying it, without giving a reason. If you do, the payment is refunded in full, without undue delay and within 14 days of receiving your notice, to the payment method you used and with no fee.

To withdraw, send a clear statement to support@qrsteady.com. You can use this wording:

I withdraw from my Pro subscription bought on [date]. Account email: [email address].

This section does not apply to a purchase made for a trade, business or profession.

What a code must not point at

Malware, phishing, or anything unlawful. A short link that keeps working after printing is exactly what a phishing campaign wants, so abusive codes are disabled when they are reported.

This is the only case in which we switch a code off. A code disabled for abuse is disabled because of its destination, not because of the account that made it, and you are told which code and why.

What belongs to whom

Your destinations, names, campaign tags, artwork and scan history are yours. We use them only as far as needed to provide the service to you: storing them, generating your codes and serving the redirects.

You may use the QR images you generate anywhere, including for commercial purposes, without naming us as the source. The software, the website and its content remain ours.

Suspension and closing an account

An account may be suspended for the abuse described above, for non-payment of an amount actually owed, or where the law requires it. You can close your account at any time from Settings. You are then asked separately whether your printed codes should keep working or be destroyed, because those are two different decisions.

Liability

Apart from the commitments above and the guarantees required by law, including a consumer's statutory rights to a service that conforms to the contract, we give no further guarantees. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim. That limit does not apply to death, personal injury, fraud, or anything else the law does not allow to be limited.

Nothing in these terms reduces the rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country you live in.

Changes to these terms

These terms may change. The five commitments above will not be withdrawn for codes already created. We tell you about any other change by email, with its effective date, before it takes effect. If you do not accept it, you can end the contract before that date. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the law of [the country where the operating company is registered, to be published]. As a consumer you keep the mandatory protection of the law of the country you live in, and you can bring a claim before the courts where you live.
