An alternative to QRCodeChimp, with no scan limit to reach

A scan cap fails in the worst possible order. Nothing goes wrong while a campaign is quiet, and the code stops working on the day it starts working, which is the day you are least able to fix it and least likely to be looking.

Their column summarises each company's own pages, checked on 13 September 2026. Prices are as shown to a visitor in Romania, not converted.

When to stay where you are

They build a lot this product does not: landing pages, form builders, code types beyond a link, bulk generation and team accounts. Here a code encodes a link, an account is one login, and codes are made one at a time. If a shared cap is a ceiling you have never come near, none of that is worth trading away for it.

Moving printed codes across

What can move

A DYNAMIC code whose destination you control, repointed at a new code here while the printed artwork stays exactly as it is.

What cannot

A STATIC code, and anything of theirs that is not a redirect. A landing page built in their editor lives there: this product points at a page, it does not host one, so you need somewhere for that content to go before the code can follow.

  1. Check whether any of your codes are currently paused, which happens at the cap rather than at the end of a plan. A paused code and a broken one look identical to somebody holding a flyer.
  2. Export your scan history. It does not come with you.
  3. Repoint the dynamic codes here, and give any code that pointed at one of their landing pages a destination you own first.

What happens here if you stop paying

Your printed codes

Keep resolving. They return to the free plan; they do not switch off.

Your scan history

Trims to the free window of 7 days. Export the full history to CSV first and it is yours to keep.

Elsewhere in this category

Some platforms stop a dynamic code when a trial or subscription ends, and printed material stops with it.
