An alternative to Uniqode, billed monthly, not yearly
A year upfront is a reasonable price and an unreasonable first step. It asks you to decide, before running a single campaign, that this is the tool you will still be using next August.
Their column summarises each company's own pages, checked on 13 September 2026. Prices are as shown to a visitor in Romania, not converted.

When to stay where you are
Uniqode is built for organisations, and this product is not: there are no team accounts here, no per-seat permissions, no bulk generation from a spreadsheet, and a code encodes a link rather than a contact card or a plain text payload. An annual invoice is also easier for some finance departments than a monthly card charge, which is a real reason to stay and not a concession.
Moving printed codes across
What can move
A DYNAMIC code whose destination you control. The printed artwork never changes; only what the short link resolves to does.
What cannot
A STATIC code, and the remainder of a year you have already paid for. Check what is left on the term before moving: their scan limits reset annually rather than monthly by their own FAQ, so mid-term is usually the most expensive moment to switch.
- Find your renewal date, and treat it as the deadline rather than today. Nothing here expires while you wait.
- List every printed code and mark each static or dynamic.
- Make the free codes here now, repoint the dynamic ones when the term ends, and scan each one with a phone before you let the subscription lapse.
What happens here if you stop paying
Your printed codes
Keep resolving. They return to the free plan; they do not switch off.
Your scan history
Trims to the free window of 7 days. Export the full history to CSV first and it is yours to keep.
Elsewhere in this category
Some platforms stop a dynamic code when a trial or subscription ends, and printed material stops with it.
